Longterm Assigned Tasks
Tasks assigned to certain people in a longterm fashion. These may be reassigned for individual weeks, but should otherwise be safe to assume as being handled otherwise.
- Handle IdleRPG changeover. (ASSIGNED: altrocks)
- Run RP Meet nights, alternative Sunday from 6:00 Eastern time. (ASSIGNED: Namegduf)

All current projects are not for immediate completion, due to levels of busyness at this time of the year across all staff.
Current Projects Underway
- Finish revamping trivia banks. (ASSIGNED: altrocks)
- Get Main Page of wiki current, handle Shogun of RP work (ASSIGNED: Ronin Of Dreams)
- Work on canonical RP cosmology and creation story for Tel'Laerad, The Tree of Worlds. (ASSIGNED: Rimblade)
- Create collected summary and set of logo work documents, in order to document what should be done by a volunteer to do the logo. (ASSIGNED: Namegduf)
- Work on Battle.net server/associated advertising (ASSIGNED: Dawson)
General Improvements/Additions
High Priority
- Scribe: Add private mode and continuous logging mode.
Low Priority
- Scribe playback mode.
- Scribe printing RPs to nicely formatted PDFs.
- Map making/virtual tabletop software? Can we do it? If so, that'd be good to pursue.
- Work out a more detailed 'canon' story for the Tree of Worlds. Wiki it!
- SWG emulator could be nifty to run.
- Wesnoth development if we had someone for it, perhaps "doing something nifty" to make our community unique.
- Work on an RP/gaming web publication? Beyond the Planes was our previously considered name for this...
- Write RP toolset? Web-based? Character/NPC/map generator? Links with m_roll? Very broad set of ideas.
Website Integration/Work
Known Issues
- Forums: Forum displays some ugly pages if a user without an email address set (by registering through the wiki) tries to reset their password.
- Forums: Text overflow in quick edit box of the warning in very old topics against posting.
Enhancements
- Evaluate methods to 'brighten up' the site, some more visual variety, some more 'colour', but in a way that doesn't degrade its appearance. Perhaps reduce clutter?
- Entire Site: Adjust themes/HTML headers to use our PNG favicon. Allow browsers which don't recognise this to failover to our favicon.ico in the default location.
- Forums/Wiki using a single logon system. This is, on a cursory look, tricky; their cookies look very different.
- Common registration/login pages, replacing those in the forums and wiki. This fixes a few inconsistencies (like the forums requiring an email address, while the wiki not).
- Scribe: Automatic emailing/subscription system? How would this work with people editing logs?
- Major IRC section of the site, providing channel lists with topic, size, possibly membership, clickable links to open a webclient in that channel/join an existing webclient to it and raise it, IRC options/channel membership options...

Internal Procedure/Documentation
- Disaster Assessment/Recovery Documents: What's the use in backups if no one knows how to restore from them? Not much. Are there any reasonably likely scenarios our wonderfully redundant network doesn't cover? Without assessing the various possible bad things that could happen outside our planning and their results, and instructions for fixing stuff, we don't know.
