Once upon a time, there was a Story

Now, this was not a nice story, and nobody wanted to read it,

So they took the story and they locked it away, so that it oculd never bother anyone again

The Story grew lonely, and it began to tell itself

And the characters played the tale out over and over, until at last they said "When can we die?"

"To speak once is to live forever", said the Story.

And so it was that the Story told itself, gathering reality

So that someday it could get out

"And when I get out", it said

"I'll do it all over again."
