This page contains our privacy policy. These are commitments we make to you about handling your personal data entered into or provided to Tel'Laerad. It is very short and should be fairly understandable.

It can be amended in the future at our desire so that if we find better wording, or otherwise judge it as necessary, we can change it. In that case, the new policy will take effect immediately, and include data already given. You're going to have to trust us the same way you have to trust any other organisation here, unfortunately.

1. Personally Identifiable Data

Tel'Laerad will not disclose any personally identifiable data, that is, data which relates to and can be identified as any specific person's, which is not already and normally visible to the public, through normal profile pages, standard IRC query commands, or other methods, to anyone outside of Tel'Laerad, except by direct approval of an owner of Tel'Laerad, or when legally obliged to do so.

When we legally are required to do so, we will provide all information we are required to provide. This includes, for instance, the scenario of a legitimate request from law enforcement, to which we will render all the assistance and information requested, as required by the law.

It goes without saying that a part of this guarantee means that we will also not sell this data.

This does not apply to non-personally identifiable data, such as general statistics about the site that do not identify any individual user, which we can give out at any point, for general interest or any other reason.
