Aethic Antitheses are the larger fragments of The Rasa, which remain to sustain viability in the plane of Aethos
Appearance
The natural form of these beings is nearly impossible to perceive, and is often mistaken for fog or shadow. When confronting prey, it links itself to them, taking any form they can remember or imagine.
Abilities
The Antithesis has one major advantage- it is indestructible. No known spell or weapon is effective against one, nor are they susceptible to most methods of sealing or slowing. An Antithesis which has linked to another creature may travel to any point they can travel, until it is unlinked, and forced to return to Aethos. While unlinked, an Antithesis cannot interact with matter or energy, and possesses no mind. While linked, they gain a keen intellect, and the ability to use powerful magic to augment their ferocious strength.
Should one come into contact with the prey, they will begin to render down flesh and mind into memories, and consume them. There is no known way to reverse this process.
Special Note
These can be summoned to preform a single task via the Rite of the Vanquished.
